US Barefoot Water Ski Teams Selected To Compete In 2010 World Championships

Teams will compete Aug. 8-15 in Brandenburg, Germany

POLK CITY, Fla. – The American Barefoot Club, a sport division of USA Water Ski, has
announced the selections to the 2010 U.S. Elite, Junior and Senior Barefoot Water Ski Teams that will
compete in the 2010 Barefoot Water Ski World Championships, Aug. 8-15, in Brandenburg, Germany.
For the third consecutive time, the biennial Elite Barefoot Water Ski World Championships will be
held simultaneously with the biennial Junior and Senior Barefoot Water Ski World Championships. The
Elite Barefoot Worlds is taking place for the 17th time, the Junior Barefoot Worlds is taking place for the
ninth time, and the Senior Barefoot Worlds is taking place for the seventh time.

Athletes and teams from more than a dozen countries will compete for world team titles and world
individual titles in wake slalom, tricks, jumping and overall. At the 2008 Worlds, the U.S. Elite Barefoot
Water Ski Team and the U.S. Senior Barefoot Water Ski Team each won overall team gold medals, the
U.S. Junior Barefoot Water Ski Team earned the overall team bronze medal, and 15 U.S. athletes
combined to earn 37 individual medals in respective events.

Athletes that have been selected to the U.S. Elite Barefoot Water Ski Team are: Ryan Boyd
(Orlando, Fla.), Elaine Heller (Alma Center, Wis.), Brian Hetherington (Winter Haven, Fla.), A.J.
Porreca (Willowbrook, Ill.), Keith St. Onge (Winter Haven, Fla.) and Laura Szwed (White Lake,
Mich.).

Athletes that have been selected to the U.S. Junior Barefoot Water Ski Team are: Cody Ebbert
(Utica, Pa.), Ariana Koehler (Wauconda, Ill.), Kailey Koehler (Wauconda, Ill.), John Pressendo (Fort
Pierce, Fla.) and Lisa Pressendo (Fort Pierce, Fla.).
