(March 30, 2005) – Clear Channel Entertainment’s Motor Sports division announced today that Asterisk, the official knee brace of THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series will once again sponsor this year’s industry barbeque at Irving’s Texas Stadium Friday, April 1, from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. in conjunction with the Dallas race. “Asterisk has been sponsoring the industry barbeque since 2001, and it’s embraced by the entire industry,” said Todd Jendro, senior director of supercross, Clear Channel Entertainment – Motor Sports. “We at Asterisk want to provide a good time for the industry – family, friends, track workers – who have been working hard all season,” said Tom Carson of Asterisk. Asterisk LLC is a company started by a group of athletes including several professional motocross racers and avid ski and snowboarders with extensive background in design and use of orthopedic devices.
