*CHAD REED CONTINUES TO DOMINATE AMA MOTOCROSS SERIES*
Carlsbad, CA – July 27, 2009 – Reigning Australian Supercross Champion, Chad Reed, celebrated his second 2009 AMA Motocross victory this weekend at Washington’s Washougal MX Park in the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Reed proved to be relentless on the track and adapted to the slippery surface, setting a solid pace early in the day. In the final race, the Rockstar Makita Suzuki rider started off in sixth position, but showcased his skills and talent by gaining the lead and closing the eight second gap with his competition. This weekend’s victory launched Reed to an overall 65 point lead over his closest competitor and set him in a promising position to capture the championship. "It was a great weekend! The track is really tough and not my favorite. I always have to work really hard on being comfortable with the bike but everything worked in my favor." The next stop of the AMA Motocross Series will be August 15th at Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin, NY with same day race coverage on SPEED TV. Check your local listings for times.
