LUDACRIS to Headline FINAL STOP OF THE DEW ACTION SPORTS TOUR AT ORLANDOS TD WATERHOUSE CENTRE
Dew Action Sports Tour Announces Headliner to Perform at the PlayStation® Pro in Orlando, Fla.
NEW YORK – September 18, 2006 – The Dew Action Sports Tour, the pro tour of action sports, today announced its music lineup for the final stop of the Tour, the PlayStation® Pro, in Orlando. The Verizon Wireless music stage schedule will feature rapper Ludacris on Friday, October 13 starting at 9 p.m.
“The PlayStation® Pro is the final stop of the Tour and it is great to have someone of Ludacriss stature performing in Orlando, capping off a very exciting season,” said Wade Martin, general manager, Dew Action Sports Tour.
Ludacriss latest album is “Release Therapy,” scheduled to be released on Def Jam on September 26, 2006. Ludacris put his experiences of being not just an artist in “Release Therapy,” but also reveals some of what he has learned as CEO of Disturbing Tha Peace Records, Founder of The Ludacris Foundation as well as forging a new identity as a critically acclaimed and well respected actor. In his burgeoning film career, he took home both a Screen Actor Guild Award and a Critics Choice award for his performance in the movie Crash and won rave reviews for his turn on NBCs Law & Order: SVU - a role he will reprise next year.
Concert admission is included in the daily ticket price for the Dew Action Sports Tours PlayStation® Pro. Friday through Sunday, daily adult and children tickets are $12 in advance or $14 at the door. Tickets to the PlayStation® Pro on Thursday, October 12 are $6 in advance or $8 the day of. A four-day pass to the PlayStation® Pro is $30 for adults and kids. Tickets available at all Ticketmaster Outlets, ticketmaster.com, charge by phone, and at the TD Waterhouse Centre Box Office. Please note that all tickets are subject to convenience and handling charges.
The Friday evening concert is scheduled from 9-11:00 p.m. The music stage will be outside on the grounds of the events festival village at TD Waterhouse Centre and will be easily accessible from all skateboard, BMX and freestyle motocross competition venues.

Owned by NBC Universal and Live Nation, the Dew Action Sports Tour debuted in June 2005, and consists of five major, multi-sport events with a cumulative points system, a $2.5 million competitive purse - the largest in action sports - and an additional $1 million bonus pool based upon year-end standings. NBC and USA Network will combine for exclusive Dew Action Sports Tour coverage with the largest combined network and cable commitment in action sports. The Tour features skateboarding (park and vert), BMX (park, vert, and dirt) and freestyle motocross, and at seasons end, the Tour awards champions in the six combined disciplines with the Dew Cup. Key lifestyle elements at each Tour events festival village includes live cutting-edge music, video gaming, and interactive events.
