Girlyz Clothing Company, a company dedicated to bringing the highest quality riding gear to women in the motocross and power sports industry, has signed Sarah Whitmore for 2007. Sarah will help launch the company’s new line of women’s motocross gear, called “Vision.” Sarah was quoted as saying, “I am super excited about teaming up with Girlyz, a company run by women for women, and they are truly focusing on the females of the sport. In fact, once I tried their new Vision gear on, I could tell they had done their homework, taking into consideration that women have hips and need a lower front panel on the pants. The Vision jersey is also cut different to fit better. Girlyz really hit the mark by coming out with a true top-shelf product, which includes leather panels along the inside of the knees, as opposed to simply putting women in a lower-level men’s gear and changing the color to appeal to females. I am really looking forward to 2007 and healing my shoulder to represent Girlyz to the fullest.” “The sponsorship of top riders like Sarah, partnership with Team MotoworldRacing.com and the introduction of the Vision Race line marks the next era for Girlyz Clothing Company demonstrating our commitment to the sport and elevation of women’s motocross.” said Jeannie King, President of Girlyz. Sarah will be teamed up with fellow-Girlyz rider, Katie McGuire and pitting out of the MotoworldRacing.com rig with her male counterparts. Leading up to her series, she will be attending the West coast Supercross races signing autographs and meeting fans. The first race is this weekend at Anaheim Stadium on Saturday, January 6, 2007.
